Saturn™PTFE Guidewire (Standard Type)

Low-friction PTFE coating ensures smooth advancement and reduces procedural resistance

Minimized vessel trauma supports atraumatic vascular access and device placement

Biocompatible and chemically inert construction enhances safety and compatibility during intravascular use

Superior pushability and torque response provide stable control and precise navigation

Comprehensive range of diameters and lengths accommodates diverse clinical requirements

Intended Use

The Saturn™ PTFE Guidewire (Standard Type) is intended for percutaneous vascular and urological access using standard guidewire techniques. It facilitates the placement and exchange of catheters and other intravascular or urinary devices during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Technical Features

Low-friction PTFE coating reduces surface resistance, supporting smooth advancement through tortuous vessels and strictured urinary anatomy while maintaining procedural control

Atraumatic tip design with optimized transition zone helps minimize the risk of endothelial or mucosal injury during navigation and device exchange

Biocompatible and chemically inert materials ensure compatibility with contrast media, medications, and bodily fluids while reducing the potential for adverse tissue reactions

Balanced core construction provides reliable pushability and 1:1 torque transmission for precise directional control in complex anatomical pathways

Multiple diameter and length options available from 0.018" to 0.038" and working lengths up to 300 cm to accommodate diverse clinical applications

Clinical Applications

Ureteral Access and Stent Placement: Supports initial ureteral cannulation, stent positioning, and device exchange in both routine and anatomically complex cases

Endovascular Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures: Suitable for vascular access, selective catheterization, and device delivery in peripheral and renal artery interventions

Percutaneous Nephrostomy and Nephrolithotomy (PCNL): Provides reliable guidance for renal puncture, tract dilation, and sheath placement during drainage and stone management procedures

Pediatric and Small-Vessel Applications: Smaller diameter options support use in pediatric urology and narrow vascular pathways while maintaining procedural control

Interventional Radiology and Cross-Specialty Use: Applicable in biliary, drainage, and other wire-guided access procedures requiring precise navigation
