Description
A Steerable Guidewire is a specialized medical guidewire designed to provide enhanced directional control and torque response during interventional procedures. Unlike standard guidewires, a steerable guidewire allows physicians to precisely navigate tortuous, branched, or narrowed vessels, improving access to complex anatomical pathways.
In industry terminology, Steerable Guidewire is the most widely accepted and standard name for what is also referred to as a Controllable Guidewire.

The product is not intended for use in the cerebral vasculature.
0.018in Controllable Guidewire: The product can be torqued to facilitate the selective placement of diagnostic or therapeutic catheters. This device is intended for peripheral use only, A torque device (pin vise)is included with each wire to facilitate directional manipulation of the guidewire.
