Intended Use

N+ Ultra™ Neuro Micro-Guidewire (Chikai Series) is intended for general intravascular use in neurovascular and peripheral vascular procedures. It facilitates superselective catheter placement and provides a pathway for diagnostic and therapeutic device delivery in complex endovascular interventions.

Technical Features

Multi-Layer Structural System

● Outer platinum-nickel alloy coil (90/10 composition) for high radiopacity and distal flexibility

● Intermediate SUS304 stainless steel reinforcement layer for torque transmission and structural strength

● Precision inner core coil for enhanced kink resistance and controlled navigation


Radiopacity & Visualization

● Continuous 5 cm radiopaque distal segment for critical navigation phases

● Tri-material marker system (platinum-nickel, stainless steel, tungsten) for depth perception and positioning reference


Hydrophilic Coating Technology

● 170 cm hydrophilic polymer coating for consistent lubricity

● Dual-layer bonding system with polyurethane base and cross-linked hydrogel surface

● Coefficient of friction <0.03 when hydrated

Mechanical Performance

● 1:1 torque response up to 270° rotation

● 0.012" distal crossing profile

● Multiple tip load options: 1.5g, 3.0g, 4.5g

● High column strength and rapid shape recovery
